Embracing the spirit of Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint (MyDIGITAL) in digitalising Malaysia’s public sector, Google Cloud Malaysia and AwanBiru Technology Berhad (Awantec), along with other Cloud Service Providers (CSP) and Managed Service Providers (MSP) rallied in the nation’s very first cloud rendezvous.
The rendezvous which was held virtually by Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU) is a call to uplift and solidify Malaysia’s position as a cloud service hub across ASEAN region via the execution of Cloud First Policy.
In response to the call for digitalisation, Google Cloud Malaysia and Awantec engaged with various public sector agencies to lay down propositions of cloud-based business transformation with the reassurance of unrivalled data security, and tailored cloud adoption strategy in getting Malaysia up to speed.
With the offer of seamless and integrated cloud experience, Google Cloud Malaysia, represented by its Public Sector Director, Mr. Raja Azmi Adam and Customer Solutions Consultant (Government), Ms. Lee Wai Theng, brought key offerings such as Productivity and Collaboration, Smart Analytics and Artificial Intelligence and e-Government Services as means in realising the digital government aspiration.
Awantec, which was represented by its Senior Manager, Cloud Adoption and Implementation, Mr. Azrin Akil, Senior Manager, Pre-Sales and Technology, Mr. Sritharan Krishnasamy, and Director, Talent and Development, Dr. Peter Lee FS, on the other hand carried with them their experiences in working with Government of Malaysia, that are translated into cloud adoption strategy, change management components and cloud management platform, built around the Government’s need.
True to their tagline of ‘Bersama Menjayakan Aspirasi Pengkomputeran Awan Kerajaan’, it is an all systems go for Google Cloud Malaysia and Awantec as the appointed CSP and MSP for #MyDIGITAL in underpinning and enabling Malaysia to make the quantum leap by capitalizing on cloud to advance as a nation.
